Capitol Reef Horse Rides

For the early settlers, travel into the labyrinth of the Canyonlands Region was often on horse back. Today we enjoy the same benefit of this timeless form of exploration on these versatile animals. To enhance your experience we take you out in small groups to some of our favorite places on trail systems that have existed for centuries.

Our experienced guides offer their insight and expertise on geology, archeology and local history. We offer a variety of trips from hourly to overnight pack trips. We accept riders from age 6 to 106 provided they are physically able to ride. We may let the little buckaroo ride a horse on a lead rope (led by the guide) if they are unable to control their own horse.

Trail Rides
		One Hour Ride: A perfect ride for individuals who want to try horseback riding but don't want the time commitment. Also good for youngsters may be too young for a longer ride. Price: $40.00 Book It Now!
		Two Hour Ride: This is by far our most popular ride. Includes stream crossings mesa-top views and some canyon exploration. Good for beginners and experienced riders alike. Price: $55.00 Book It Now!
		Half Day Ride: Our half-day ride is geared for the more adventurous rider who wishes to get off the beaten path. We offer the option to ascend the verdant benches of nearby Boulder Mountain or descend deep into the remote canyons of Capitol Reef National Park. 		Full Day Ride: The full-day ride offers a really terrific way to intimately experience the land. As with the half day ride we offer the option to ascend the verdant benches of nearby Boulder Mountain or descend deep into the remote canyons of Capitol Reef National Park.
